Our Safety Directors are members of the Safety Team and collaborate with our safety managers, site safety coordinators, project managers, field leaders, and front-line field workers to educate all about our best-in-class safety culture and standards, while assuring our standards are adhered to by all. Our safety directors help build, sustain, and improve our safety programs, policies, processes, and practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Construction or Industrial-related Safety, including knowledge of and exposure to electrical-related hazards. Previous safety roles with an Electrical Contractor are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or relevant degree strongly preferred, Journeyman or Master Electrician licensing a plus.
  • OSHA 30 required.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST) are a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), safety software, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to balance safety education vs. accountability.
  • Ability to provide 24 X 7 on-call support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends.
  • Travel required – regularly to regional job sites, and on occasion out of state (overnights required).

What You’ll Do

You’ll take full ownership of field execution across complex commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

Project & Crew Leadership

Lead projects or scopes up to 200,000 man-hours
Supervise multiple foremen and up to 100 field employees
Drive productivity, accountability, and culture across the jobsite
Make hiring, staffing, and performance decisions for your team

Execution & Field Operations

Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and project plans
Coordinate and install:
Conduit systems (EMT, GRC, IMC)
Cable tray and large cable pulls
Switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems
Fire alarm and control systems
Oversee layout, underground work, and equipment installation
Ensure all work meets NEC and project specifications

Safety & Quality

Enforce safety standards and lead weekly safety inspections
Maintain OSHA compliance and jobsite discipline
Own site security, cleanliness, and organization

Team Development

Train and mentor electricians, apprentices, and foremen
Set expectations and hold the line on performance
Build crews that can execute without constant oversight

What You Bring

10+ years in the electrical field
10+ years of supervisory experience leading crews in the field
Proven ability to run large-scale commercial or industrial jobs
Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices
Ability to lead through both authority and respect
OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)

We’re a growing electrical contractor supporting high-impact projects across the region and we’re hiring a Project Accountant who is Excel-strong, detail-driven, and ready to build a solid foundation in project-based accounting.

If you’re the person who loves clean data, organized workflows, and making sure the numbers tell the truth this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll support key project accounting functions, including:

Client Billing & Project Support

  • Prepare and process customer billings (cost-plus, fixed fee, etc.)
  • Maintain schedules of values (SOVs) and supporting documentation
  • Assist with project closeout financial tasks and final billing support

Accounts Payable + Job Costing

  • Match invoices to POs and receivers (qty, pricing, tax/freight approvals)
  • Help ensure costs are coded correctly and job costing stays accurate
  • Support resolution of short pays, deductions, and billing questions

Excel-Based Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Use Excel daily to track, verify, and organize project financial data
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets that improve visibility and accuracy
  • Support reconciliations and help identify trends, issues, or variances
  • Assist with basic dashboards or reporting using Excel (required) and Power BI (nice to have)

Vendor Coordination

  • Support vendor set-up and required documentation (W-9s, etc.)
  • Assist with lien releases when needed to support timely payments
  • Help resolve invoice/payment issues with professionalism and follow-through

Process Improvement (Supportive Focus)

  • Support workflow improvements and documentation
  • Help troubleshoot user issues and escalate system-level items to the right team

  • High attention to detail + ability to manage deadlines
