Project Overview

Enterprise Solutions delivered comprehensive core and shell electrical construction for McEwen Northside Block E, a sophisticated mixed-use development that seamlessly blends commercial excellence with architectural distinction. This nine-story building houses restaurants, retail, fitness facilities, and conference space on the ground floor, with office spaces on floors two through nine. Several floors already serve as home to thriving businesses.

Our partnership with the development team centered on a shared vision: creating a best-in-class experience for every tenant and visitor who walks through these doors. We understood that premium finishes and thoughtful lighting design would bring the building’s wood, metal, and custom signage to life, transforming functional spaces into welcoming environments.

The scope included:

  • Complete electrical infrastructure for restrooms, common areas, and future tenant build-outs
  • Dual-switch system design separating bus operations from first-floor commercial spaces
  • Premium lighting packages enhancing architectural features throughout lobbies and public areas
  • Pedestrian bridge electrical systems connecting the main building to the parking garage
  • Advanced fire alarm networks and busway systems replacing traditional conduit methods

The project’s complexity required us to think differently. A standout feature, the pedestrian bridge linking building to garage, demanded careful coordination, as did the generator room supporting both structures. The automatic dimming systems across garage levels one through four, combined with pole-mounted fixtures on the fifth level, ensure both safety and energy efficiency for families and professionals using the facility daily.

Building Information Modeling allowed us to virtually model electrical rooms, ensuring precise equipment placement and eliminating the need for disruptive core drilling. This approach honored both our schedule commitments and budget goals while reducing rework. It stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and forward-thinking planning.
