What’s been your proudest moment in leading a fabrication team?
Honestly, my proudest moment has been slowly growing into the role of a leader. It didn’t happen overnight—it’s taken time, trust, and a lot of learning. Watching people grow, step up, and take pride in what we’re building together has been incredibly rewarding. What’s made it even more meaningful is seeing how my manufacturing and fabrication background has brought a different perspective to the shop—streamlining processes, introducing lean concepts, and helping us operate more efficiently as a team.
How do you see fabrication evolving in the future of electrical construction?
It’s already starting to shift. I think we’ll see more standardization, better integration with BIM, and smarter platforms that track productivity and quality in real time. The labor force is changing, and prefab is going to be a big part of how we meet demand while keeping standards high. It’s less about being a job shop and more about thinking like a manufacturer.
How does this company support innovation in fabrication?
We’ve got the freedom to try new things—whether that’s lean-focused changes, new tooling, or rethinking standards on how we build certain assemblies. There’s a willingness here to invest in the process, not just the product. Continuous improvement isn’t just a buzzword here; it’s part of the culture.
