Project Overview
Enterprise Solutions delivered design-build electrical design and construction for Peabody Plaza at Rolling Mill Hill, a Class A, nine-story, 280,000 sq ft multi-tenant office building on the southeast edge of downtown Nashville. The mixed-use development features a 3/4-acre green, a second-floor outdoor amenity, café, full-service restaurant, fitness center, and a bank branch—program elements that required flexible, reliable electrical infrastructure and thoughtful coordination.
Our responsibilities included:
- Electrical design as engineer of record and full electrical construction for tenant and common areas
- Service design and distribution for two new utility services (4000A and 1200A) and a 500 kW standby generator
- Power distribution, lighting, life-safety coordination, and support for specialty tenant systems and amenity spaces
- Design integration with site and building systems to support long-term tenant flexibility
To streamline installation and control costs, we leveraged advanced 3D BIM modeling and close collaboration between design, fabrication, and field teams. That coordination enabled extensive prefabrication: overhead conduit racks, in-slab and in-wall rough-in assemblies, light fixture assemblies, and a complete modular electrical room in the penthouse. The result was a precise, efficient installation that minimized onsite rework and accelerated delivery for the owner and tenants.
