Project Overview
Enterprise Solutions delivered comprehensive electrical infrastructure for Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX, providing resilient systems to support critical hospital operations while overcoming difficult site conditions and an accelerated schedule.
Our scope included:
- Installation of 13 underground modular electrical cages with extensive conduit routing
- Delivery and installation of 62,000 lbs of custom electrical racks fabricated at our Nashville facility
- Complex underground electrical distribution supporting mission‑critical loads, switchgear, and transformers
- Coordination for installations in areas with limited ceiling clearance due to deep structural beams
- Prefabrication, Revit-based VDC coordination, and collaborative file sharing to streamline installation and mitigate supply‑chain impacts
Project challenges and solutions:
- Rocky site conditions required specialized milling and close coordination with site crews to execute underground work where traditional excavation was not feasible
- Long-lead equipment delays were managed through adaptive procurement, prefabrication, and staging strategies to keep critical path activities on track
- Rigorous safety and quality program execution resulted in zero recordable incidents and earned the General Contractor’s recognition for safety excellence
Enterprise Solutions’ integrated approach—combining offsite fabrication, virtual coordination, and disciplined field execution—delivered reliable, code‑compliant electrical systems that underpin patient care and operational continuity at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills.
