Project Overview
RAD1 Phase II represents the continued expansion of this critical distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee. Our scope encompassed comprehensive electrical upgrades including the removal and replacement of existing light fixtures with higher-output systems, strategic fixture installations to support new storage rack configurations, development of an additional computer test laboratory, and complete power distribution throughout the facility.
To ensure uninterrupted operations, all work was executed during off-hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Our comprehensive scope included installation of electrical feeds to the computer test lab supporting new 112.5 kVA transformers and a 400-amp load center, implementation of customized Modular Wiring Systems designed to integrate seamlessly with the owner’s racking installation, and power infrastructure for twenty lift charging stations.
The project commenced in September 2020 and reached successful completion by February’s end. This efficient timeline was achieved through the dedicated expertise of our six-person field team and strategic collaboration with our Virtual Design and Construction group, whose prefabrication efforts enhanced project efficiency by ten percent while maintaining our commitment to quality and precision.
